A step above, Broadway is an art house theater and home of the Salt Lake Film Society. You’ll see the latest from the Sundance Film Festival, the perfect place to see a great flick and have the best movie popcorn in SLC.
One of our favorites is Salt Lake Acting Company. Enjoy a play and bring your own dinner to enjoy! The Green Room before the play has great snacks and raises money for the Acting Company – pick up treats for before or during the show.
If you’re like us, a concert is always a good time – and Downtown has variety, a variety of venues, styles and atmospheres. It’s just not possible to name them all, so we’ll give you a start, and places to look for more.
Abravanel Hall is a key site downtown where you can experience a Bach Suite in all its acoustic glory.
If symphonies aren’t your thing, check out up and coming bands at The Venue or The Depot, always a good time, with a broad range of options all year long.
Catch one outdoor, at Red Butte Gardens, or the Twilight Concert series ( and market) held at Pioneer Park most Thursday Nights July through August.
